Lily Brooks-Dalton

Lily Brooks-Dalton is a celebrated author, born and raised in the picturesque town of southern Vermont. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and furthered her education by earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from Portland State University. Throughout her career, Brooks-Dalton has demonstrated exceptional writing skills, spanning various genres, including fiction and memoir.

Brooks-Dalton's literary accomplishments include her most recent novel, The Light Pirate, which has garnered significant recognition. It was named a #1 Indie Next pick for December 2022, a Good Morning America Book Club selection, and featured as one of NPR's "Books We Love." Additionally, it was hailed as a New York Times Editors' Pick. Her debut novel, Good Morning, Midnight, has been translated into seventeen languages and was the basis for the Netflix film adaptation The Midnight Sky. She has also penned a memoir, titled Motorcycles I’ve Loved, which was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award.
