Linda P. Kozar is a renowned American author, celebrated for her work in Christian-themed cozy mystery, women's fiction, and romance novels, as well as non-fiction books. She is known for her Southern-style storytelling, which combines tradition, charm, and faith, and creates characters that are unforgettable. Kozar was named American Christian Fiction Writers Mentor of the Year in 2007, and has since founded The Woodlands Texas Chapter of the ACFW. She is also a member of the Christian Authors Network board, ChiLibris, and AWSA. Kozar currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband, Michael, and they have two adult daughters and a granddaughter.
In addition to her fiction writing, Kozar is also a speaker, journalist, and podcaster. She won the Mentor of the Year Award by the American Christian Fiction Writers in 2007, and has authored over 28 independent and traditionally published books, including the "Until the Fat Ladies Sing Mystery" series. Kozar is the director and co-founder of Words of the Journey Christian Writers Guild Texas chapter, and does her podcasting on the Gate Beautiful Radio Show, where she interviews both budding and established Christian fiction authors. She has been married to her husband Michael for over 29 years, and when she is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her Jack Russell terrier, who demands a lot of her spare time.
Kozar is an award-winning multi-published author of traditional and indie-published fiction and nonfiction books, novellas, and short stories. In 2021, her book "Sunshine For The Soul" took home a First Place Selah and Nonfiction Book of the Year at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. Kozar and her husband Michael, married for 32 years, live in The Woodlands, Texas and enjoy spending time with their two grown daughters, their wonderful son-in-law, sweet granddaughter Eden, and Gypsy, their rascally Jack Russell Terrier.
