Linda Windsor is a highly influential and inspirational American author, known for her ability to combine themes of spirituality and historical literature in her work. With over thirty novels and millions of books in print, she has become one of the most prolific and well-regarded novelists in her field. Her writing is not only popular in the United States, but has reached readers all over the world, with her material being universal in its subject matter.\n \nIn addition to her spiritual and historical themes, Windsor's novels often feature elements of romance. This combination has helped her to make a name for herself in the industry and reach a wide audience. Some of her most notable works include "Healer" and "Thief," the first two volumes in the Brides of Alba series, as well as the early Irish Celtic Fires of Gleannmara trilogy.
Windsor has an estimated million books in print and is an award-winning author of 16 secular historical and contemporary romances and thirteen romantic comedies and historical fiction for the inspirational market. She made the switch to inspirational fiction in 1999, although she claims it was more of a push from God than a flash of enlightenment. She had reservations about writing inspirational fiction, but after being prepared by God for the task in her early publishing years, she took the leap of faith and has never looked back.
When she's not writing, Windsor is busy speaking and performing music for writing workshops, faith seminars, libraries, and civic and church groups. She and her late husband were professional musicians and singers in their country and old Rock and Roll band Homespun. She also performs and plays organ for her little country church in the wildwood. In addition to her writing and music, Windsor enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, whom she considers her favorite role in life.
