Lisa Hall is a bestselling author of thriller and mystery novels, hailing from Kent, United Kingdom. With a deep-rooted love for books, reading, and words, Hall has always dreamed of becoming an author or working as a librarian. After years of contemplation, she decided to pursue her dream and become a professional writer. Growing up in a small countryside village in Kent, she spends much of her time reading, taking care of her chickens, dogs, ponies, husband, and children. She also enjoys a good bottle of wine and a side of cheese.
Hall's love for fiction with a good twist and great covers is evident in her writing, with her favorite authors being Alex Caan, Angela Marsons, Chris Whitaker, C.L. Taylor, and Patrick Redmond. She is the author of the popular "Cutie Pie Chronicles" series and numerous short stories. Hall is also a passionate patient advocate, drawing from her personal experience of searching for the correct diagnosis and treatment of a mysterious debilitating medical condition. This experience led her to write "Taking Charge of Your Own Health," with the help of seventy medical professionals, including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, The Joint Commission, and the American College of Surgeons.
In addition to her writing, Hall holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Psychology from Fairmont State College and an M.S. degree in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University. She has over ten years of experience in the Human Resources field, mostly in the area of Training and Development and is currently employed as an Organization Development Specialist. An avid runner, Hall has completed twelve marathons and eleven ultra-marathons. Her writings have appeared in several publications, including "Lost Souls: Found!
