Lisa Harris

Lisa Harris is an accomplished American author, well-known for her inspirational Christian fiction. She specializes in creating thrilling and suspenseful stories that incorporate her faith. Harris has written numerous series, including The Nikki Boyd Files, the Fallout series, and the Southern Crimes series, as well as several standalone novels.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Harris pursued her education at Harding University in Portland, Oregon, where she earned degrees in Bible Studies and the Consumer Sciences in 1991. After graduation, she and her husband moved to West Africa to train a team on planting churches. During this time, Harris began her writing career by producing magazine articles, short stories, and devotionals. Her big break came in 2003 when one of her short fiction pieces was included in the anthology "To Catch a Thief." This opportunity led to the publication of her debut novel, "Michaela's Choice," the first book in the Massachusetts Brides series.

Harris has since written over thirty novels, including the Massachusetts Brides, Cozy Crumb Mystery, Mission Hope, Southern Crimes, Nikki Boyd Files, Agents Of Mercy Thriller, and US Marshals series. Her work has been recognized with several awards and nominations, including being a Christy Award finalist for Blood Ransom, Vendetta, and Port of Origin, and a Christy Award winner for Dangerous Passage. She has also won the Best Inspirational Suspense Novel for 2011 (Blood Covenant) and 2015 (Vendetta) from Romantic Times. Harris and her family currently work as missionaries in southern Africa, where she continues to write and be inspired by her surroundings.
