Lisa Anne Bronowski (Jardine) was a distinguished British historian specializing in the early modern period. She served as Centenary Professor of Renaissance Studies and Director of the Centre for Editing Lives and Letters at Queen Mary, University of London from 1990 to 2011. Her academic career was marked by interdisciplinary contributions, culminating in her role as the inaugural director of University College London's Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in the Humanities in 2012.
Beyond her academic appointments, Bronowski held significant leadership positions, including Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) from 2008.
