Liz Mugavero

Liz Mugavero is a successful American author, well-known for her cozy mystery novels. She was born in Massachusetts and currently resides in Connecticut. From a young age, Mugavero has been telling stories and honing her craft. She decided early on that she wanted to write for a living, and began practicing by writing poems, short stories, and even a soap opera storyline by the time she was 15.

Mugavero went on to earn her Master's degree in writing and publishing and has worked in journalism, PR, and corporate communications. She currently balances her day job in marketing with her passion for writing, which she does in her spare time. In addition to her love of writing, Mugavero is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and drinking Starbucks.

Mugavero is the author of the Pawsitively Organic Mysteries series, which includes Kneading to Die, A Biscuit, A Casket, The Icing on the Corpse, and Murder Most Finicky. The first book in the series, Kneading to Die, was a 2013 Agatha nominee for Best First Novel. Mugavero's writing is influenced by her love of animals and her background in publishing and marketing. She is dedicated to her craft and confident that writing is the way to make a living.
