Liza M. Wiemer

Liza Wiemer is an award-winning author and educator known for her young adult contemporary fiction and nonfiction works. Her novel "The Assignment," published by Delacorte Press, earned critical acclaim, including recognition as a Sydney Taylor Notable Book, and has been translated into multiple languages. She has also contributed short stories to the "New York Times" bestselling "Small Miracles" series and published two adult nonfiction books. Her debut picture book, "Out and About: A Tale of Giving," was released in 2023 by Kalaniot Books.

With over two decades of teaching experience, Wiemer brings a deep understanding of youth perspectives to her writing.
