Lois Greiman is a prominent American author, renowned for her work in cozy mystery, historical romance, women's fiction, romance, humor, chick lit, and paranormal romance genres. She has written over twenty novels, with popular series such as Hope Springs, SD series, Highland Brides series, Witches of Mayfair series, Chrissy Mullen Mystery series, and Highland Rogues series to her name. Greiman's work has been recognized with prestigious literary awards, including Storyteller of the Year by Romantic Times, the Rising Star award by MFW, and Love & Laughter awards also by Romantic Times. Her heroes have frequently received the K.I.S.S. recognition, and her novels are often included among the Top Picks.
Born and raised on a North Dakota cattle ranch, Greiman moved to Minnesota after graduating from a high school class of sixty students. She tried various professions, including high fashion modeling, fitness instruction, and veterinary assistance, before an unshakeable case of writing fever took over. Greiman sold her first book to Avon in 1992, leading to the sale of twelve other historical romance novels, most of which are set in medieval Scotland and feature her well-known Forbes clan. In recent years, she has expanded her repertoire to include romantic comedies, selling three to Harlequin Enterprises.
While tending to her three children, fifteen horses, and a variety of pets on her Minnesota farm, Greiman writes full-time, consistently producing two or three novels a year. Her work has received high acclaim from readers and reviewers alike. For example, Affaire de Coeur described Highland Wolf as "magnificent," and Romantic Times called Lady and the Knight "pure magic." Greiman's Highland novels have won numerous awards, such as Affaire de Coeur's Critic's Choice Award, Romantic Times K.I.S.S. Award, and nominations for Romance Writer's of America's Rita. Her titles have even made it onto Barnes and Nobles Best Selling Romance list, earning her the Midwest Fiction Writer's Rising Star Award.
