Lori Nelson Spielman is a highly regarded author, known for her historical fiction and intelligent romance novels. She was born and raised in Michigan, and after attending college, she began working in the public school system as a speech-language pathologist. Later, she became a high school guidance counselor and also worked as a homebound teacher. It was during this time that she rediscovered her love for writing.
Spielman's first novel, "The Life List," was a #1 international bestseller and has been translated into twenty-seven languages. The film rights for the book were purchased by Fox 2000. Her second novel, "Sweet Forgiveness," was also an international bestseller. Spielman's third book, "The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany," is set to release on November 17, 2020.
Spielman is a former speech pathologist, guidance counselor, and teacher of homebound students. She enjoys fitness running, traveling, and reading, but her true passion is writing. In addition to her novels, she has also written articles for various publications. Spielman currently lives in Michigan with her husband and their very spoiled puppy. She is dedicated to her writing and is already working on her next novel.
