Lynne Connolly

Lynne Connolly, born in Leicester, England, grew up in a cobbler's shop with her parents, sister, and a ghost that she would later discover was not her great uncle, but an older spectral inhabitant. The house had been built on the site of a Roman cemetery and had been continuously inhabited, making it a central part of the town's history. After the council bought their house to build a road, her family moved to a more modern home in the country. Connolly's mother's side of the family were Romany gypsies, and she was taught to read Tarot cards at a young age, sparking her lifelong interest in the paranormal.

Connolly is an award-winning and best-selling author, having published historical, contemporary, and paranormal romances. She developed a passion for the eighteenth century at the age of nine and has since dedicated her career to writing about the people who lived and loved during that time. Prior to her writing career, Connolly worked in marketing and has accumulated numerous letters after her name, although she no longer utilizes them. She currently resides in the UK with her family, including a ragdoll cat named Frankie the Nonsense. Connolly enjoys traveling, but always leaves Frankie at home.
