Lynne Graham

Lynne Graham is a renowned author of contemporary romance and fiction novels, hailing from Northern Ireland. With over 100 novels to her name, she has made a significant contribution to the genre. Some of her notable series include The Drakos Baby, The Pregnant Brides, Virgin Brides, Arrogant Husbands, Walk Down the Aisle, Brides Of L’Amour, Carlton Sisters, The Rich, Ruthless, and Really Handsome, and the Nancy Leeward’s Goddaughters series. Graham was born in July 1956 to Irish-Scottish parents and grew up in a seaside village in Northern Ireland. Her love for reading began at the tender age of three, and she has been an avid reader ever since.

Graham's journey as a writer began at the age of 15 when she wrote her first novel, Bittersweet Passion. However, it was rejected by publishers, and it wasn't until after she got married and had her first child that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. After facing numerous rejections, she finally sold her first title in 1987, a moment she fondly remembers. Today, there are over 10 million copies of her series and freestanding novels in print, a testament to her popularity and the appeal of her work to readers worldwide.

Graham is a mother of five children, having always wanted a large family. Her eldest child is 19 and studying at university, while her other four children are adopted, hailing from Sri Lanka and Guatemala. The rich cultural diversity of her family has added an extra dimension to her life, making it all the more interesting and rewarding. Graham and her family live in a country house surrounded by a woodland garden, providing a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility. They have two pets, a black cat named Thomas and a white West Highland terrier called Daisy, who share a unique bond, sleeping together in front of the kitchen stove at night.

In her spare time, Graham enjoys gardening, cooking, and collecting old toys and rock specimens. She is also crazy about every aspect of Christmas, adding to the warmth and coziness of her home during the holiday season. Graham's love for four-poster beds, log fires, baths in candlelight, and chocolate is reflective of her appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She loves exploring historic houses, castles, and beautiful gardens, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and channeling it into her work.
