Nancy Allen

Nancy Allen is an accomplished American author, best known for her Ozarks Mystery series. Born and raised in the Ozarks, Allen's writing is heavily influenced by her deep-rooted connection to the region and its people. Prior to her career as an author, Allen spent fifteen years practicing law as an Assistant Missouri Attorney General and Assistant Prosecutor in her native Ozarks. During this time, she gained invaluable experience, trying more than thirty jury trials, including cases involving sexual offenses and murder. This professional background has allowed her to bring a unique level of insight and detail to her crime fiction, further enhancing the quality of her storytelling.

In addition to her work as an author and lawyer, Allen is also a law instructor at Missouri State University.
