Natasha Lester is a highly acclaimed and best-selling author, who has won multiple awards for her work. She grew up in Perth, Western Australia, with a great love for books and a passion for creating her own stories. From a young age, Lester was enchanted by the world of literature and often wondered what it would be like to evoke the same emotions in readers that she experienced when immersed in a book.
Prior to her writing career, Lester worked as a marketing executive for L'Oreal, managing the Maybelline brand. After gaining valuable experience in the corporate world, she decided to return to university to pursue her true passion – creative writing. Lester completed a Master of Creative Arts and has since published numerous novels, including "A Kiss From Mr Fitzgerald," "Her Mother's Secret," "The Paris Seamstress," "The French Photographer," and "The Paris Orphan." Her latest book, "The Disappearance of Astrid Bricard," is now available in Australia and will be published in North America in February 2024.
Lester's books have been translated into over twenty-one languages and are now available worldwide. Her writing is known for its captivating storytelling, rich historical detail, and strong female characters. In addition to her work as an author, Lester enjoys teaching writing, is a popular public speaker, and can often be found playing dress-up with her three children. She continues to reside in Perth, where she draws inspiration from her surroundings and her love of fashion history, art, and books.
