Natasha Solomons is a highly acclaimed English author and screenwriter, best known for her New York Times bestselling books including "The Gallery of Vanished Husbands," "The House at Tyneford," and "Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English." She currently resides in Dorset, England with her husband, David Solomons, who is also a writer, and their two children.
Solomons has always worked as a writer in some capacity. After completing her university education, she pursued an MPhil in Eighteenth Century Literature at the University of Glasgow. She then began a doctorate, focusing on Women’s Romantic Poetry and the Domestic Muse. However, she became unstuck on a chapter about Verse Letters and decided to write her first novel as a way to avoid correcting the footnotes. Solomons enjoys research and writing immersive fiction but dislikes footnotes.
In addition to her successful career as a novelist, Solomons also writes screenplays, often collaborating with her husband. They have two children and a Labrador named Mr. Bingley. Although they sometimes argue about their screenplays, it is clear that their shared love of writing brings them together. Solomons' novels are highly regarded for their engaging storytelling and richly detailed settings, reflecting her passion for research and immersive fiction.
