Nele Neuhaus

Nele Neuhaus is a highly successful German author, best known for her crime thriller and mystery novels. She was born in Münster/Westfalen and grew up in Paderborn, but has lived in the Taunus region of Germany since her childhood, which has served as the inspiration for many of her works. Neuhaus began writing at the early age of five, and her passion for writing continued to grow as she got older. She attended a advertising agency and studied Jura, History, and Germanistics for a few semesters, but ultimately decided to support her husband in their family business.

Neuhaus' big break came when she began self-publishing her novels, including her popular series featuring the investigative duo of Oliver von Bodenstein and Pia Kirchhoff. Her success as a self-published author eventually caught the attention of the German publisher Ullstein, who signed her to a deal. Since then, Neuhaus has become one of Germany's most popular authors, with her novels reaching a wide audience and being translated into over 20 languages. Her novel "Schneewittchen muss sterben" (Snow White Must Die) quickly climbed the Spiegel bestseller list and has remained a popular title. In addition to her adult novels, Neuhaus has also written a young adult series titled "Elena - Ein Leben für Pferde" (Elena - A Life for Horses). She currently lives in the Vordertaunus region of Germany with her partner and dog.
