She writes most often in a small office/retreat in her backyard, filled with vintage books, bottles, typewriters, and snarky artwork.

Bross is an avid world traveler and has made it her goal to visit at least one new country every year. Her favorite place in the world is her ancestral home of Cornwall, England, but Abaco Island in the Bahamas is a close second. Besides traveling, Bross enjoys collecting manual typewriters with unique typefaces, gardening, canning, smoking, pickling, and fermenting her own food. She is an enthusiastic reader and considers Jane Eyre her favorite book of all time.
