NCIS agent Nicole Trope initially pursued a law degree, but her plans took a different turn when she received poor grades on her first law essay. Her professor pointed out that the assignment was not meant to be a story, which made Nicole reconsider her career path. She then decided to study teaching and used her vacation time to work on her writing career and complete a Master's degree in Children's Literature.
After the birth of her first child, Nicole became a full-time stay-at-home mom and writer. She and her husband also started a business together while renovating houses. The idea for her first published novel, "The Boy under the Table," was emotionally challenging, taking her a year to gather the courage to write it. Nicole's novel was well-received, and she went on to publish six more books in Australia. In 2019, she joined Bookouture and became a bestselling author in the USA, UK, AUS, Canada, and Germany. Her books have been translated into German, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, and French, showcasing her global appeal. Nicole currently resides in Sydney with her husband and three children.
