Nikki May

Nikki May is a talented author who was born in Bristol, England, and spent her childhood in Lagos, Nigeria. This Anglo-Nigerian background has greatly influenced her writing, providing her with a unique perspective that is reflected in her work.

Before turning to writing, May ran a successful ad agency. Her background in advertising has no doubt helped her to hone her skills as a storyteller, allowing her to create compelling narratives that engage and captivate readers.

May's debut novel, "Wahala," was a critically acclaimed success. It won the Comedy Women In Print New Voice Prize, was longlisted for the Goldsboro Glass Bell Award and the Diverse Books Award, and is being turned into a major BBC TV drama series. Her second novel, "This Motherless Land," has also been well-received, showcasing her talent for creating engaging and thought-provoking stories.

May currently lives in Dorset with her husband, two standard Schnauzers, and a vast collection of books.
