Nina Bangs is a highly productive author, having written multiple series of romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and general romance fiction. Growing up, Bangs spent her time dreaming and reading, developing her imagination. During her high school years, she became interested in dark and dangerous stories, and developed a love for mysteries, reading all of Agatha Christie's works. However, it wasn't until college that Bangs discovered her love for "real" literature, such as James Joyce's Ulysses and Tolstoy's War and Peace.
After college, Bangs worked at a department store and then taught second grade for several years. She also spent two years in Dublin, Ireland, where she and a friend supported themselves by singing folk songs in Irish pubs. It was during this time that Bangs discovered her love for romance novels and cats. Upon returning to the United States, she began writing her own romance stories, making sure to include a cat in each one. Now residing in Texas, Bangs enjoys the wide-open spaces and strong men that remind her of her Texas roots. She shares her home with her cat, Abby, and dreams of investigating old castles and meeting resident ghosts.
