Otsuichi, born Hirotaka Adachi in 1978, is a Japanese author renowned for his contributions to horror fiction. He gained early recognition with his debut novel "Summer, Fireworks, and My Corpse," written while still in high school. Among his notable works are the award-winning novel "Goth," later adapted into a manga, and the short story collection "Zoo," which inspired a film adaptation. His English-language publications include the collection "Calling You" and the short story "F-Sensei's Pocket," featured in the English edition of Faust.
