S.W. Kane has a diverse background that includes a degree in History of Design and experience working at the Royal Institute of British Architects. Before venturing into the world of crime fiction, she explored various opportunities in the music industry and radio, and even did some freelance public relations work. Her academic journey took an exciting turn when she earned a Master of Arts degree in Creative (Crime) Writing from City University.
Kane's love for crime fiction started at a young age, and she developed a particular interest in stories set in cold places. A fortuitous encounter with a derelict fort in rural Pembrokeshire sparked her fascination with urban exploration, ultimately inspiring her crime novels. Drawing from her extensive and varied experiences, Kane brings unique perspectives to her writing, captivating readers and transporting them into intriguing crime-laden settings. Currently, she resides in London, where she continues to cultivate her passion for storytelling and explore the depths of the crime fiction genre.
