Sabrina Jeffries is a highly accomplished American author, well-known for her romance novels which have frequently appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. Writing under the pseudonyms Deborah Nicholas and Deborah Martin, as well as her own name, she has published over 50 novels and works of short fiction. Jeffries was born in New Orleans and spent her childhood there until the age of seven, when she moved with her missionary parents to Thailand. It was during her time in Thailand that she developed a love for books and began crafting her own stories, mostly romantic tales.
Jeffries earned her Ph.D in English and began working in the academic world. However, she eventually moved on to work as a technical writer and wrote fiction at night. In addition to her passion for writing, Jeffries enjoys jigsaw puzzles, chocolate, music, and traveling with her husband and adult autistic son.
Whenever Jeffries is not writing in a "coffee-fueled haze of dreams and madness," she spends her time traveling or indulging in her hobbies, which include jigsaw puzzles, chocolate, and music. With over 9 million books in print in 22 different languages, Jeffries has achieved great success as an author and has a wide international readership. Despite this success, she has never forgotten the joy of writing and hopes that one day a book of hers will "end up saving the world."
