Sam Wiebe

Sam Wiebe is an accomplished author, best known for his work in the crime fiction genre. His novel, "Last of the Independents," won the Arthur Ellis Award, and his Wakeland series is widely regarded as one of the most authentic and acclaimed detective series in Canada. Wiebe's writing has been featured in various publications, including Spinetingler, Criminal Elements, and Thuglit’s e-collection.

Wiebe's work has received critical acclaim and numerous accolades. His novels "Cut You Down," "Invisible Dead," and "Last of the Independents" have been praised for their gripping narratives and authentic portrayal of Vancouver's criminal underworld. Wiebe's writing has been compared to that of Raymond Chandler, with his work successfully bringing classic detective fiction into the 21st century.
