Samira Ahmed

Samira Ahmed is a highly accomplished author, best known for her young adult novels and middle grade fantasy adventure series. Her work is both critically acclaimed and popular, with several of her books becoming New York Times Bestsellers. In addition to her success in literature, Ahmed has also made appearances in various media outlets, including the New York Times, Fox News, NBC, and NPR.

Ahmed was born in Bombay, India, and spent her formative years in Batavia, Illinois. She has fond memories of her childhood home, which was always filled with the aroma of spices, fried onions, and potpourri. After completing her education at the University of Chicago, Ahmed went on to teach high school English in both the suburbs of Chicago and New York City.
