Sandi Wallace

Sandi Wallace is an award-winning Australian author specializing in crime, thriller, and suspense fiction. She is best known for her Georgie Harvey and John Franklin series, as well as her debut novel, "Tell Me Why," which won the Davitt Award Readers' Choice. Her fast-paced, engaging narratives set in both rural and urban environments have earned praise from critics, fellow authors, and law enforcement professionals, cementing her reputation as a standout in the genre often described as Aussie Noir.

Before pursuing writing full-time, Wallace explored a diverse range of careers, including journalism, banking, paralegal work, and personal training, which provided rich material for her stories. Her deep interest in policing nearly led her to join Victoria Police, but she ultimately channeled that fascination into crafting gripping crime fiction. Her short stories have garnered multiple accolades, including several Scarlet Stiletto Awards. Currently residing on Phillip Island off Victoria’s southern coast, Wallace continues to work on new thrillers while engaging with readers and participating in literary events.
