Sandra Bretting

Sandra Bretting is a successful American author, known for her cozy mystery books, particularly the Missy DuBois series. She has built a reputation as a prolific writer in the cozy mystery genre, working primarily with the Kensington Publishing Corporation. Bretting's Missy DuBois Mystery series is set along the Great River Road in Louisiana, with antebellum mansions along the Mississippi River as the backdrop.

Born in Southern California, Bretting moved to the Midwest to attend the Missouri University's Journalism School. It was during her time at university that she first considered becoming a writer.
