Sarah Moss

Sarah Moss is a highly acclaimed author of nonfiction, literature, and fiction books, who has gained a reputation for her compelling and thought-provoking works. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and spent her childhood in the United States and England. Moss completed her undergraduate studies at Oxford University and went on to earn a Ph.D. from the University of Lancaster.

Moss has written six novels, including "Cold Earth," "Night Waking," "Bodies of Light," "Signs for Lost Children," "The Tidal Zone," and "Ghost Wall." Her novels "Night Waking" and "Cold Earth" were both nominated for the 2011 Fiction Uncovered Award, while "The Tidal Zone" was shortlisted for the prestigious Wellcome Prize Award. "Ghost Wall," which was released in September 2018, is one of her most well-known works.

In addition to her fiction writing, Moss has also written a memoir about her year living in Iceland, titled "Names for the Sea." This memoir was shortlisted for the RSL Ondaatje Prize in 2013. Moss is currently a Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Warwick in England. Her work has been widely praised for its insightful and evocative portrayal of human experiences and relationships, as well as its exploration of complex social and cultural issues.
