Sarah Pekkanen is a bestselling author, known for her novels of suspense and contemporary fiction. She has written a total of eighteen novels, including the New York Times bestseller "Gone Tonight," which was published in August 2023 and received high praise from authors such as Colleen Hoover and Harlan Coben. In addition to her solo works, Pekkanen is also the coauthor of four bestselling thrillers: "The Golden Couple," "The Wife Between Us," "An Anonymous Girl," and "You Are Not Alone."
Pekkanen's writing has been translated into dozens of languages and has been well-received by critics and readers alike. Her novel "Gone Tonight" was narrated by actress Kate Mara for the audiobook edition. Pekkanen is not only dedicated to her writing but is also passionate about animal welfare. She serves as an Ambassador for RRSA India, a shelter and sanctuary for abused and injured street dogs and other animals in Anand, India. Pekkanen volunteers her time to vaccinate and heal street dogs in Anand, India and also volunteers weekly for a horse rescue group in Maryland, mucking stalls and helping mistreated horses heal. She is an advocate for rescue animals and encourages others to support the cause. Pekkanen currently resides just outside of Washington, D.C. with her family.
