Sarah Price is a well-known author, best recognized for her Amish fiction, as well as her contemporary romance and inspirational and Christian fiction novels. Price has published over 30 novels, with her work being published by Realms, an imprint of Charisma House and Waterfall, an imprint of Brilliance Audio. Some of her most popular works include "An Empty Cup," which was ranked #3 on Amazon's Top 100 eBooks in January 2016.
Price has a rich family history that has greatly influenced her writing. She comes from a long line of devout Mennonites, including numerous church leaders and ministers throughout the years. Her ancestors, the Preiss family, arrived in America during the early 1700s aboard the Patience, escaping Catholic persecution for their Anabaptist beliefs. Price was born in Pennsylvania and lived on the land of her ancestors before moving to Morristown, New Jersey, where she currently resides with her husband and two children.
Before becoming a full-time writer, Price was a college professor, holding advanced degrees in Communication (MA), Marketing (MBA), and Educational Leadership (PhD). However, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, she decided to focus on her writing full-time. Price has achieved numerous best-seller rankings throughout the years, including hitting #8 on all of Amazon with "An Empty Cup." She is also an ordained minister.
