Sarah R Shaber

Sarah R. Shaber is an accomplished American author, renowned for her works in the historical mystery and spy thriller genres. Hailing from North Carolina, Shaber was born in Washington D.C., and has established a successful writing career with a number of highly regarded books to her name. She has been influenced by prominent writers such as Ruth Rendell, Charles Todd, Dorothy L. Sayers, Mary Stewart, and Josephine Tey, which has inspired her to hone her writing skills and make a significant mark in the literary world.

Shaber's writing career took off with her historical mystery series based on World War II, starting with the novel "Louise's War". The series features Louise Pearlie, a widowed young woman working in the Strategic Services Office, as the main protagonist. This captivating series has gained widespread acclaim, and Shaber's ability to create engaging characters and immersive historical settings has been praised by critics and readers alike.
