Scott Sigler

Scott Sigler is a bestselling American author, known for his novels in the science fiction and horror genres. Sigler was born in Cheboygan, Michigan, and now resides in San Diego, California. In addition to his writing, Sigler is also a podcaster and has built a large online following. He has written a total of 15 novels, 6 novellas, and several short stories, with many of his works being published by Del Rey Books and Crown Publishing.

Sigler's writing career took off when he began releasing the audiobooks of his novels as serialized podcasts in 2005. This innovative approach allowed him to build a dedicated fanbase, who dubbed themselves the "Junkies." Even after a decade in the industry, Sigler continues to give away his stories for free, releasing new audiobook episodes every Sunday on his personal website. His podcast is the world's longest-running fiction podcast, with over 40 million episodes downloaded.

In addition to his individual success, Sigler is also a co-founder of Empty Set Entertainment, which publishes his Galactic Football League series. He is an inaugural inductee into the Podcasting Hall of Fame and has been named a New York Times bestselling author.
