Scott Simon

Scott Simon is a highly respected American author and broadcaster, known for his insightful and thought-provoking work in the memoir genre. With a number of prestigious awards to his name, Simon has established himself as a prominent figure in the literary world, as well as in broadcasting. He has a wide audience, with over 4 million listeners tuning in to his news program, Weekend Edition Saturday, making it the most-listened to news program on NPR. In addition to his work in broadcasting, Simon is also an accomplished academic. He holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from McGill University and is currently a Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
