Sean Lynch

Sean Lynch is a mystery author who was born and raised in Iowa. As a child, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, climbing trees, and shooting his BB gun. His experiences growing up in Iowa would later provide inspiration for his writing.

After leaving Iowa, Sean served as an enlisted infantryman and spent several decades working as a municipal police officer in the San Francisco Bay Area. His career in law enforcement gave him a unique perspective on crime and justice, which he would bring to his work as a mystery author. Sean's background in law enforcement has allowed him to create authentic and believable characters and situations in his novels.

Sean William Lynch, on the other hand, is a poet and editor from New Jersey who was born in 1992. He received the Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award in 2009 for his essays on social justice. Lynch's writing has appeared in various publications, both online and in print, including APIARY, Poetry Quarterly, and Tincture Journal. His first poetry chapbook, "the city of your mind," was published by Whirlwind Press in 2013 and received critical acclaim from the poet laureate of Philadelphia, Frank Sherlock, who described it as "visionary."

While both Sean Lynch and Sean William Lynch share the same name and have a background in writing, they are different individuals with distinct careers and bodies of work. Sean Lynch is known for his mystery novels, while Sean William Lynch is recognized for his poetry and essays on social justice.
