Shari Low is a successful Scottish author, born in a town near Glasgow in 1967. As a teenager, she dreamed of following in the footsteps of her idol, Jackie Collins, and living a life of decadent glamour in Los Angeles. However, practical considerations led her to pursue a career in nightclub and hotel management instead. It wasn't until her thirtieth birthday, when she experienced a mid-life crisis, that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. Her first novel, "What If?", was published in January 2001, marking the beginning of her career as a bestselling novelist.
Over the past two decades, Shari Low has published over 30 books, including romantic comedies, thrillers, and women's fiction. Some of her most popular titles include "My One Month Marriage", "One Day In Summer", "One Summer Sunrise", "The Story Of Our Secrets", and "Because Mummy Said So". In late 2020, she released an updated version of "What If?", which became a bestseller, followed by the sequel "What Now?". Shari's books have sold over two million copies worldwide and have been translated into several languages.
In addition to her fiction work, Shari Low has also co-written three Hollywood thrillers, "The Rise", "The Catch", and "The Fall", with LA-based TV presenter and actor Ross King. She has had two consecutive number one bestsellers in the UK, "One Day With You" and "One Moment in Time", and her books have topped the charts in several countries, including the USA, Canada, Germany, and Australia.
Shari Low currently lives near Glasgow with her husband and a labradoodle, after her two teenage children left home. She spends a lot of time on video calls, keeping up with her children and their laundry, and is active on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. She continues to write and publish books, with many more exciting projects in the works.
