Shelley Adina is a prolific and accomplished author with a diverse range of published works. She has written more than forty novels, which have been published by reputable publishing houses such as Harlequin, Warner, Hachette, and her own independent press, Moonshell Books, Inc. Her genres of expertise span steampunk adventure and mystery, classic Regency romance, and Amish women’s fiction, which she writes under the pen names Shelley Adina, Charlotte Henry, and Adina Senft, respectively.
Adina's writing career has been marked by numerous awards and accolades. In 2005, she won the prestigious RWA's RITA Award®, and she was a finalist again in 2006. Her work has also been featured in the 2016 documentary film Love Between the Covers. She is a popular speaker and convention panelist, often imparting her knowledge and expertise to aspiring writers. Additionally, she has been a guest on various podcasts, including Worldshapers and Realm of Books.
Aside from her writing pursuits, Adina is also an accomplished academic, holding a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University in the UK. She has also taught as adjunct faculty at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, where she earned her MFA in Writing Popular Fiction. When she's not writing or teaching, Adina enjoys engaging in various hobbies, such as quilting, sewing historical costumes, and tending to her garden. She is also known for her love of animals and has a flock of rescued chickens that she enjoys spending time with.
