Shelley Freydont is a versatile author known for her work in historical mysteries, cozy mysteries, and romance fiction. Under her own name, she has penned several series, including the Lindy Haggerty dance company mysteries, the Kate MacDonald Sudoku mysteries, and the Liv Montgomery Celebration Bay Mysteries. Her Newport Gilded Age Mysteries, beginning with "A Gilded Grave," showcase her talent for blending history with suspense. Writing as Shelley Noble, she achieved New York Times bestselling status with women’s fiction titles such as "Beach Colors," "Whisper Beach," and "Lucky’s Beach," as well as the Manhattan Gilded Age Lady Tunbridge mysteries, including "A Resolution at Midnight."
Before her writing career, Freydont pursued a professional dance career, performing with Twyla Tharp Dance and American Ballroom Theater. Her background in choreography extended to television, film, and Broadway, with notable contributions to productions like "Mona Lisa Smile" and "The Game Plan."
