Shirley Miranda

Shirley Miranda is an author and educator whose passion for storytelling began in childhood, long before the rise of fan-fiction as a recognized genre. At age 11, she crafted narratives in her mind, though one particular scene with original characters lingered unfinished for years. Encouraged by her husband, she eventually translated that moment into her debut novel, "Falling," the first installment in "The Bits and Pieces Series."

Before pursuing writing, Miranda worked as a software engineer while volunteering with high school students in math and science. This experience led her to transition into education, where she now teaches high school math and computer science in San Diego. Her early love for scriptwriting and fan-fiction evolved into novel writing, allowing her characters' stories to unfold beyond single scenes. Miranda's work reflects her ability to blend imaginative storytelling with structured narrative development.
