Simon Sinek

Simon Oliver Sinek is a renowned optimist, born in Wimbledon, London on October 9, 1973. As a child, he lived in various parts of the world, including Johannesburg, South Africa, Hong Kong, and London, before settling in the United States. Sinek is celebrated for his unconventional and innovative views on business and leadership, which have earned him invitations to speak to an array of leaders and organizations around the world. These include Microsoft, MARS, SAP, Intel, 3M, the United States Military, members of the United States Congress, multiple government agencies, and entrepreneurs. He has also had the honor of presenting his ideas to the Ambassadors of Bahrain and Iraq, at the United Nations and to the senior leadership of the United States Air Force.

Sinek's primary goal is to help build a world in which the vast majority of people go home every day feeling fulfilled by their work. He is an adjunct staff member of the RAND Corporation, one of the most highly regarded think tanks in the world. Sinek is also active in the arts and not-for-profit world, working with Education for Employment Foundation to help create opportunities for young men and women in the Middle East region. When not on the road, he teaches graduate-level strategic communications at Columbia University in New York, where he currently resides.

Sinek is the author of two best-selling books, "Leaders Eat Last" and "Start With Why." He is a regular contributor to national publications and frequently shares his insights on Twitter. Sinek's ideas about the power of why have inspired leaders and organizations across various industries, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, Hollywood to the Pentagon. He is dedicated to helping leaders and organizations inspire people and create a world in which everyone has the opportunity to feel fulfilled by their work.
