Siobhan Vivian is an acclaimed American author, best known for her popular young adult fiction. Born in 1979 in New York City, Vivian's family soon moved to Rutherford, New Jersey, where she spent the majority of her childhood. She credits much of her work to the experiences she had during her high school and childhood years. After graduating from Rutherford High School, Vivian attended the Philadelphia University of the Arts, where she earned a degree in Television and Film script writing in 2001. She then moved back to New York City to study at the New School's MFA program in Creative Writing, with a focus on Children's literature, where she would later meet her friend and collaborator, Jenny Han.
Vivian is the author of several successful young adult novels, including "The Last Boy and Girl in the World," "The List," "Not That Kind of Girl," "Same Difference," and "A Little Friendly Advice." She also co-wrote the popular "Burn for Burn" trilogy with her friend and fellow author, Jenny Han. In addition to her work as a novelist, Vivian is also an accomplished screenwriter and editor.
