Sophia Jordan is an acclaimed American author, well-known for her works in historical romance, young adult paranormal romance, and new adult romance novels. She has written numerous series under her own name as well as the pseudonym Sharie Kohler, including the Moon Chasers, Firelight, and Forgotten Princesses series. Jordan's passion for writing began in her high school days when she penned her first historical romance novel in the back of her Spanish class.
After high school, Jordan pursued her interests in English and History in college, earning a degree in both fields. She briefly explored a career in law but soon realized that the courtroom was not the right fit for her. Following her time in law school, she spent several years teaching high school students to appreciate literature. However, after the birth of her first child, she decided to leave teaching to pursue her long-held dream of becoming a novelist. Within just three years, Jordan's first book, "Once Upon A Wedding Night," was published in 2006, quickly becoming a nominee for Best First Historical by Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice. Her second novel, "Too Wicked To Tame," was released in 2007 and became an instant bestseller, landing on the USA Today Bestseller's List.
Jordan grew up in the Texas Hill Country, where she spent her childhood weaving stories of dragons, warriors, and princesses. Her love for storytelling and romance has continued to this day, and she is now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. In addition to writing historical romance novels, Jordan also writes paranormal romances under the pseudonym Sharie Kohler. When she's not writing, Jordan enjoys watching true crime and reality TV shows. She currently resides in Houston with her family.
