Stav Sherez is a British novelist known for his crime fiction and literary thrillers. His debut novel, "The Devil's Playground," published in 2004, was shortlisted for the CWA John Creasey Dagger, establishing him as a compelling voice in contemporary fiction. He followed this success with "The Black Monastery" in 2009, further showcasing his ability to blend atmospheric storytelling with intricate plots. Sherez gained wider recognition with his London-based police procedural series, beginning with "A Dark Redemption" in 2012, which explores themes of trauma and justice through the lens of former child soldiers. Born in 1970, Sherez grew up in London and studied at the University of Leeds.
