Stephan Lee is a young adult author and entertainment journalist known for his contemporary novels infused with pop culture and romance. He is the author of the "K-Pop Confidential" series, which draws from his passion for Korean entertainment, as well as the upcoming YA romance "Like We Were in Paris" and the collaborative project "Donutella Hamachi and the Library Avengers" with drag artist Kim Chi. His debut novel, "K-Pop Confidential," was inspired by his lifelong admiration for girl groups and Korean pop culture.
Lee holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and has built a career in both publishing and media. As a former Senior Editor at Bustle and Entertainment Weekly journalist, he specialized in books and film, even traveling to Seoul to report on Korean entertainment’s global influence. His writing often explores themes of identity, ambition, and fandom, blending humor with heartfelt storytelling.
