Stephanie Burgis

Stephanie Burgis is an American-born author now residing in Wales with her husband, writer Patrick Samphire, their two sons, and their talkative tabby cat. She writes adult fantasy rom-coms, including "Claws and Contrivances" and "Good Neighbors," as well as middle-grade fantasy adventures such as "The Raven Crown" duology. Her upcoming adult romantasy trilogy, "The Queens of Villainy," will launch in 2025 with its first installment, "Wooing the Witch Queen," published by Tor Bramble.

Before establishing her writing career, Burgis pursued music, performing in orchestras and studying music history in Vienna. She also worked as an editor for an opera company website in Leeds.
