Stephen J. Dubner is an award-winning author, journalist, and radio personality known for his contributions to nonfiction and children's literature. He co-authored the bestselling books "Freakonomics" and "SuperFreakonomics," which explore unconventional economic and social phenomena. His other works include the memoirs "Turbulent Souls: Choosing My Religion" and "Confessions of a Hero-Worshiper," as well as the children's book "The Boy With Two Belly Buttons." His writing has appeared in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Time, and has been featured in anthologies like "The Best American Sports Writing" and "The Best American Crime Writing."
Before pursuing writing full-time, Dubner had a brief career in music, playing in a rock band signed to Arista Records.
