Stephen Kelly is a well-established author, best known for his Inspector Lamb Mysteries series. Kelly's love for mystery novels, particularly those of English masters such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Peter Robinson, and Colin Dexter, inspired him to create this series. Before turning to fiction, Kelly spent nearly three decades working as a newspaper reporter, editor, and columnist. His work has been featured in various publications, including the Baltimore Sun, The Washington Post, Baltimore Magazine, The Columbia Flier, and Howard County Times. He holds a Master's degree from the Johns Hopkins University Writing Seminars and has taught writing and journalism at Hopkins, Towson University, and Sweet Briar College.
