Stephen Morris

Stephen Morris is an author and scholar with a background in medieval history and theology. He holds degrees from Yale University and St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Academy, where his academic work focused on Late Antiquity and Byzantine church life. A former Eastern Orthodox priest, he served as chaplain at Columbia University before transitioning to writing and interdisciplinary research.

As a senior Project Leader for Inter-disciplinary.net, Morris organizes conferences exploring themes of the supernatural, evil, and wickedness. His fascination with these subjects, along with his deep historical expertise, informs his fiction writing. His travels, particularly to Prague - a city that captivated him during his first visit in 2001 - often inspire his storytelling. A Seattle native, Morris now resides in Manhattan with his partner, Elliot.
