Stephen Penner

Stephen Penner is a successful American author who has written over 25 novels, including legal thrillers, mysteries, sci-fi, and children's books. He is well known for his series such as the Professor Barrister's Dinosaur Mysteries, Maggie Deveraux, and David Brunelle series. Penner's interest in writing began at a young age when he was in elementary school, where he wrote murder mystery and fantasy stories. His passion for writing continued throughout his college years, and he eventually went on to attend law school at the University of Michigan.

After graduating from law school, Penner began his legal career as a defense lawyer in Seattle, working his way up to handling small crimes such as misdemeanors and eventually moving on to murders. He later switched sides and became a prosecutor, trying around one hundred cases throughout his career. Penner's expertise in the legal field has been put to good use as he trains trial advocacy to law students in Seattle.
