Steve Doherty

Steve Doherty is a retired United States Air Force officer and aviator who has since turned to writing. He grew up in the small community of Muldoon, Texas, which is located about sixty miles southeast of Austin. This rural upbringing has provided him with a unique perspective that he has been able to bring to his writing.

Doherty has a strong educational background, having obtained an undergraduate degree from Texas State University. He furthered his studies by receiving a master’s degree in health science from Chapman University and completing post-graduate work at The Ohio State University. His background in health science and education has no doubt been beneficial in his writing career.

In addition to his four fiction thrillers, Doherty has also authored three children’s books. His diverse writing portfolio showcases his versatility as a writer and his ability to appeal to a wide range of audiences. Doherty is also a 2nd Dan Black Belt instructor in Taekwondo with the Oriental Martial Arts College, which speaks to his well-roundedness and dedication to various pursuits. He currently resides in New Albany, Ohio.
