Steve White

Steve White is a distinguished author of military science fiction novels, born in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1946. After serving as a Naval Intelligence officer in the Mediterranean and in the Vietnam War Zone, he pursued his passion for law and graduated from the University of Virginia Law School. He became an associate member of the Virginia Bar, and later embarked on a successful career as a writer. White is renowned for his collaborative work with David Weber on the best-selling "Starfire" military science fiction series, as well as his popular solo science fiction and fantasy novels.

White's literary career is marked by a diverse range of works, from space opera to high fantasy and alternate-history fantasy. His "Starfire" series, co-authored with Weber, is a favorite among military science fiction fans. His solo works include the trilogy comprising "The Disinherited," "Legacy," and "Debt of Ages," which combine fast-paced space opera with Arthurian mythology. He has also penned standalone novels such as "Prince of Sunset," "Emperor of Dawn," "The Prometheus Project," and "Demon’s Gate."
